Meet John

I grew up in North Carolina (Go Heels!) but my wife is a native of Anderson Township. We were excited to put down roots here. I previously worked at Cleveland Clinic where we treated patients with very complex colon and rectal diseases. I am excited to bring this level of expertise and compassion to Mercy Health. I love spending time with my daughters, watching FC Cincinnati and trying to get fit at the Mercy Healthplex Anderson.

	January 2024 Dr Cullen treated me 6yrs ago, coming in on his day off. I fully trust his expertise & have already recommended him to a friend who chose Dr Cullen for surgery in 2023. Dr Cullen personally called me post-op, has addressed my pain, & is a consummate professional. I hope to never need his surgical skills again, but if I do, I will absolutely come to him. His office (nurse) was quick to respond to my MyChart message as well. I'm very happy with his practice & care.

	January 2024 Dr. Cullen was informative, easy to understand and compassionate. He went into detail about the surgery, what to do before and after, have me a booklet explaining the procedure. Great bedside manner.
